If life takes Visa and wants to be everywhere you want to be, that includes gun shops. And Visa is keeping it that way. The company will not block or ban any legal act of commerce where a Visa Card is accepted. Even if that purchase is a firearm.
If you’re wondering why we even have to share this story, the Left doesn’t just pressure people in Red hats. The Left pressures everyone. About everything. Bars, retail stores, CEO’s, middle managers, or hourly workers. Journalists, producers, authors, and bloggers. You, your friends, and your neighbors. Everyone and everything are their concern. Which is to say, everything that is not yet going the way they require.
So, for Visa CEO Alfred Kelly to say, sure, there are things we ought to change about firearms that’s one thing. For him to then say, but as long these transactions are legal, we’re not here to pass judgment, is another.
“We are guided by the federal laws in a country, and our job is to create and to facilitate fair and secure commerce,”
Laws-shmaws – Liberals only like laws that do what they want. Everything else is suspect or can be ignored. So, again, bold move on his part. Especially with financial institutions feeling the heat form gun-grabbing leftists to do their bidding.
And he’s not alone.
Ajay Banga, CEO of Mastercard, said it is not his company’s place to dictate what consumers can and cannot buy, according to a Bloomberg article. Banga does not think personal beliefs should guide how he operates his company’s networks.
Wow. More of that, please.
