As I keep saying, over and over, I’ve been listening to the dire, dour, and repetitive predictions of all kinds of eco-apocalypses over the last 50 years. It started out as “WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE – ICE AGE IS COMING!” to “WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE – the earth is warming, the ice caps are melting, the deserts will grow, mass extinction of the human population, war, pestilence, starvation, mass migrations” and the ONLY solution is to hand our lives in toto to Bigger Government. Based on ZERO predictions coming true, just GET OFF MY LAWN!

Coastal flooding and crop failures would create an exodus of ″eco- refugees,′ ′ threatening political chaos, said Noel Brown, director of the New York office of the U.N. Environment Program, or UNEP. He said governments have a 10-year window of opportunity to solve the greenhouse effect before it goes beyond human control.
As the warming melts polar icecaps, ocean levels will rise by up to three feet, enough to cover the Maldives and other flat island nations, Brown told The Associated Press in an interview on Wednesday. Coastal regions will be inundated; one-sixth of Bangladesh could be flooded, displacing a fourth of its 90 million people. A fifth of Egypt’s arable land in the Nile Delta would be flooded, cutting off its food supply, according to a joint UNEP and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency study.
Ayup – last time I looked, map makers haven’t had to change much at all due to the above (now, what SHOULD be of more concern is the political chaos and “warming”. Thirty years after that 10 year warning we’re all dying living our same lives. I’m tired of being told that I HAVE to change my life to suit someone else’s bad science – and scientists that wander outside of their poor knowledge of said science into poorer knowledge of politics. Not ONE SINGLE prediction EVAH made has come true. Not ONE SINGLE person can explain, with any degree of absolute certainty (and there SHOULD be certainty based on all their claims of CONSENSUS!) of how much *I*, as an Individual, am adding to this hysterical atmosphere.
So, when WILL we get a true prediction? And why is it the case where we should fear THAT versus all of the other serious issues (e.g., militant China, militant Russia, militant Iran, ISIS, Al Queda?
Or if you are a Democrat that hates Trump so much, aren’t you more fearful of HIM than Global Cooling, GlobalWarming, Climate Change, Chaos, Crisis? After all y’all keep saying he won’t leave office and that the US is going fascist?
Or are you scared you’re going run out of words with which to scare us with?
