The chief of staff for freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez told the Washington Post the true goal of the Green New Deal. Saikat Chakrabarti was speaking with Sam Ricketts, the climate director for Washington Gov. Jay Inslee. This is exactly what many have said the socialist was proposing. Now we have it from the horse’s mouth. The Green New Deal is not about defeating global warming. It wasn’t originally a climate thing at all. The Representative really does want this for our future; as does her party.
Government control of the entire economy is a feature of totalitarian communist nations. It is the Marxist dream. The countries that have had the dream have woken up screaming from the nightmare. Critics of the Green New Deal have often made that accusation against the plan; rightfully so.
Conclusion:
We have a decision to make when we go to the voting booth next time… Socialist Totalitarian or Constitutional Republic… central control for the benefit of those in charge or freedom to choose and opportunity. Vote early, vote often.
