In the Q1 of 2019 More Women Donated to President Trump Than any Democrat Challenger

The party that thinks it is the Party of Women™ just took a punch in the narrative. First quarter data for donations to candidates shows the second highest number of women donors (3850) gave to Kamal Harris. The highest number (10,372) gave to Donald J. Trump.

That’s a yuge gap in numbers that Democrats will ignore. While more actual women donate to The Donald, the average contribution per woman was much smaller. So was the percentage of the donation by gender. Assuming the “women” giving to other candidates were born that way.

While Mr. Trump had more individual women donate to his campaign in Q1 than the top three Democrats combined, the Daily Caller reports that,

Trump’s average donation per woman donor is also much lower than his top female opponents. New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand’s average donation was $1,321, and Sen. Harris’s average was $935 per woman respectively, while Trump’s donors average out to $141.

For percentage of female donors, Trump ranks third with Gillibrand and Harris ahead of him.

So what does it mean?

Not much.

With so many Democrat candidates spreading out the Left’s donor dollars there’s it’s mostly about perception. But if it were the other way around the Democrat Media machine would be short-stroking the heck out of this.

That’s why I brought it up.

And if Trump had fewer women voters, we’d never hear the end of that either.

But women, probably everyday American women with day-jobs, support Donald Trump. His economic policies are improving their families in a way that makes them feel comfortable donating to his campaign. And if that keeps up, there are far more of them than the professional class more likely to give to Democrats. And while money matters in a campaign, votes matter more.
