Climate change has been a hot topic for years. We now have Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claiming, as extremists have done in the recent past, that we have twelve years left on Earth. There was also a climate change meeting in the seacoast area recently, which consisted of many NH State legislators.
Here’s the really cool part! The Patriot Initiative will be hosting a forum on climate change, on April 16th, at Sunapee Middle/High School. Instead of constantly being hammered with boring information and faux science, you will get first-hand knowledge and information from some experts in the field of weather and meteorology, including the Co-Founder of The Weather Channel, Joe D’Aleo!
In addition to Mr. D’Aleo’s expert analysis as one of the world’s top experts on climate and meteorology, you will also get to hear from Ron Moore, who is a storm chaser and weather historian. Not only has Ron Moore chased tornadoes and some of America’s most violent weather over the last 38 years, but his collection of authenticated historical documents on severe weather and hurricanes, dating back over 140 years, gives him a very unique and factual perspective on weather as it relates to what we see happening today.
There may even be one or two additional guest panelists to make the conversation even more interesting! Here are some questions we’ve heard about climate change.
Are the sea levels really rising?
Is the frequency and severity of hurricanes and tornadoes indicative of climate change?
Do most scientists agree that climate change is a threat to mankind?
You may have heard these questions repeated by the media and perhaps you have asked those questions yourself. If that’s the case, you need to click this link https://www.eventbrite.com/e/climate-change-the-science-behind-extreme-weather-tickets-58344671483 and register to attend the forum right now. These questions and many more will be addressed and discussed! If you are interested in learning brand new information on the topic of climate change and discover it in a fun way, you do NOT want to miss this event.
