Indiana Man’s AD May Result in Permanent ED (He Accidentally Shot Himself ‘down there’)

Mark Anthony Jones of Marion, Indiana is facing a misdemeanor weapons charge after he shot himself without a license to carry. Jones’ unholstered 9 mm handgun was in his waistband and slipped. When he went to grab the weapon he accidentally discharged a round (AD).

The bullet entered his lower abdomen just above his penis and exited through his scrotum (ED).

Talk about “that’s gonna leave a mark.”

There are more than a few cautionary tales here. First, get a license to carry. Second, a decent holster costs a lot less than the antibiotics and pain killers you’ll need for the self-inflicted gun-shot wound not to mention the cost of emergency care.

Costs you might now be able to offset by becoming the paid “poster boy” for local gun-safety.

“Don’t shoot your junk off” fits next to a portrait picture on almost any size bumper sticker. Notice how I didn’t say headshot (until just now)?

I’d suggest saving some money to pay for a basic pistol class and maybe some self-defense training. So you can protect yourself from yourself.
