‘Transgendered Men Don’t Become Women,’ They Become ‘Feminized Men,’ ‘Impersonators’

If you think that allowing “feelings” to define sexuality instead of biology is damaging to children and families, you are not alone. Dr. Paul R. McHugh has your back. He’s the Distinguished Professor of Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University. He studied “transgendered persons” for 40 years. He was the psychiatrist-in-chief for 26-years. At the place that pioneered sex-change surgery. Then stopped.

Why?

“.. gender dysphoria—the official psychiatric term for feeling oneself to be of the opposite sex—belongs in the family of similarly disordered assumptions about the body, such as anorexia nervosa and body dysmorphic disorder,” said McHugh.

“Its treatment should not be directed at the body as with surgery and hormones any more than one treats obesity-fearing anorexic patients with liposuction,” he said.

Dr. McHugh observes further that “transgendered men do not become women, nor do transgendered women become men.”

“Transgendered men do not become women, nor do transgendered women become men,” he said.  “All (including Bruce Jenner) become feminized men or masculinized women, counterfeits or impersonators of the sex with which they ‘identify.’ In that lies their problematic future.”

Within 15 years the suicide rate for this group rises to 20-times that of their non-transgendered peers.

The best possible treatment, according to Dr. McHugh, is therapy, which is beyond the reach of GraniteStaters thanks to “Republicans.” It’s against the law in the Granite State. The conversion therapy ban would prevent anyone from bringing up the subject even if the patient requested it.

And they wonder why we protest their seemingly endless effort to appease the Left.
