Jeanne Shaheen Announces She Will Run for Third Term in 2020

What can we say about Sen. Jeanne Shaheen that has not already been said? Quite a bit. And we’ll have more opportunity to say it. The 72-year old two-term Democrat is so addicted to the money and power in Washington that she can’t find a way to retire. She is running for a third term in 2020.

For years I’ve referred to Shaheen as the Federal Government’s ambassador to New Hampshire. Her job, keep the money-laundering operation going while feigning offense at the injustice. Say things like New Hampshire pays more in federal taxes than it gets back, but look I got this much. Then do nothing to slow the flow of taxes out of the state to the Feds.

But how can you be part-and-parcel to the party or class-warfare? The wealth-redistribution mob. The you-didn’t-build-that caucus and then say, with a straight face that the Federal Government’s redistribution of New Hampshire’s wealth is somehow unjust?

You just have to be a Democrat.

And keeping that Socialist-Democrat “lie” alive.

“Serving New Hampshire is a tremendous honor and my work in the Senate is focused on delivering results for Granite Staters. Through bipartisanship and respect for one another, we will continue to make progress together!”

Results filtered through your hands and the power of a distant central government. For six more years.

Unless, of course, the Republicans can find a candidate who can raise the sort of money needed to battle her mountain of inside-the-beltway campaign cash and win.
