Transgender Miss Universe Contestant Didn’t Win?

For the first time in the event’s history, a man vied for the Miss Universe Crown. Trans Woman Angela Ponce represented Spain. But is he the most beautiful woman in the universe? We may have to take that up with Carl Sagan’s Ghost.

Or, perhaps the transclimate scientists will have a sunny forecast for Ponce’s future. Because the judges said no. She didn’t even make the top 20. And they gave that honor to Miss Philippines. But now that Ponce has broken the glass ceiling for the patriarchy and male privilege on women’s global beauty pageants, the sky is the limit.

But not for the Miss Universe Pageant. Viewership was down.

The pageant — which, for the first time this year, allowed men to enter — stunk up the joint with 4.19 million viewers. That’s 300,000 fewer than last year.

“… given the poor performance of Miss Universe, Miss America’s detrimental deletion of a swimsuit competition (here), and Playboy’s failed attempt at a non-nude nudie magazine, this generation is proving too woke for the wiles of sexy ladies. And yet, they must’ve all been asleep during Miss Universe. As they have been for all the other things that pretend to be improvements and yet aren’t.”

As long as he’s not a Jew I’m sure the Women’s March is good with it. Not sure about the rest of the feministas. Maybe on “paper.” But get them together “backstage” on an open mic and all bets are off.

He’s prettier than me!

As for the future? Not long from now the Marxists Democrat Socialists will ensure that State Television programming includes many pageants of genderless “equals” for our entertainment. Viewing is required, comrade.

I’m particularly interested in the Mao Suit competition.

It’s a shame the line for the Government Approved, GMO-free, Fair Trade, popcorn is always so long. I’d have something to snack on.
