The Impact of Nike’s Embrace of Colin Kaepernick in One Image

Zero Hedge reports on the impact of Anthem kneeling, cops are pigs socks-wearing sometimes NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick. A four billion dollar loss in market value so far. That’s billion with a “B.”

I hope Colin already cashed the check because being the face of loss is one thing but being the face of massive loss is not a keeper even for virtue-signaling multi-national corporations.

Nike may need to accept their mistake and move on because as Wayne Allyn Root notes at Townhall.com,

Here’s a guy who had a $150 million contract, but thinks America is “unfair” to minorities. Here’s a guy who spits in the face of vets, cops and our flag. Here’s a guy who gives the black power salute at the US Open days ago- from a luxury box. What a joke. What a clueless hypocrite. What a disgrace to America.

He made millions. He made a mistake. He made a few more. Then he couldn’t find work. But so what? I could live the rest of my life in leisure on a fraction of that contract, and I’d be both happy and grateful.

I never felt bad for the guy.

No one is entitled to anything. But you get what you ask for, and Nike asked for this.

Their stockholders didn’t.

They might want to dump that pig-sock stock or start writing letters to the board that begins with WTF!
