Where are the Republican Professors at UNH? If it’s like most campuses they are in hiding. College campuses are hostile hate mongering intimidation mills for thought outside the approved narratives. And UNH is just getting worse. But it’s easy to see why.
When I read this study, I wanted to see where the University of New Hampshire, the largest university in our state, fell in this bias. The results were even worse than the study: with nearly 2,000 donations this cycle alone, ZERO were to any Republican-affiliated candidates or organizations.
That’s in an email from the Andy Sanborn’s campaign for Congress. He’s doing some leg-work on free speech – also in danger at UNH – based on this.
I decided to do some digging on our public universities and why Chris (Pappas) wants to carve out special treatment solely for them. Earlier this week, the National Association of Scholars released a not-so-surprising study. The study, which had a sample of nearly 8,700 professors, showed nearly 40% of the colleges had ZERO Republican professors. We all knew it was bad, but this is really, really bad.
Pappas, like his Democrat pal Andru Volinsky, is a militant anti-religious pro-government zealot. The proper expression of this is to express “concern” by opposing scholarships that might allow someone to pursue an education at a school that’s not like UNH. Any god other than the government is not entitled to support, taxpayers wishes be damned. Or something.
It turns out UNH doesn’t have any professors who can or will publicly support candidates that are not Democrat, at least according to the email and the FEC data at the link. That isn’t surprising. But it is chilling. As in, these sorts of people are more likely to advocate not just for candidates but policies that silence idea that contradicts their worldview.
Maybe an audit of UNH is in order. See if they are creating a hostile work environment or deliberately discriminating against potential employees who might also be women, minorities, or somewhere on the gender spectrum, but not Democrats.
That would be fun, wouldn’t it?
