Yes, there is a warming trend, but that’s hard to dispute seeing as we’ve been in an interglacial for a while now. But blaming it on fossil fuels still doesn’t fly given that most of the total change in temperature happened before your daddy bought his first SUV.

And, even if we were to suggest that the prophesied warming was real and man-made we’d need to surpass a more significant hurdle; that government is even remotely capable or competent of doing anything useful about it.

They are not.
