Republicans are already going after Democrats for Nancy Pelosi’s “crumbs” remark, regarding the savings taxpayers will see from Tax Reform and the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
I can’t say how successful they will be, but given all the money the RNC has stockpiled I would not be surprised to see these sorts of ads proliferating in the coming months, especially as November approaches. Pelosi’s remark is utterly out-of-touch with the real world, which makes sense because she hasn’t lived in it for a long time. Any Democrat who can be tied to that will have to deal with the being disconnected label on top of voting against this popular and successful reform.
