On Friday night, New Hampshire Democrats held their annual Kennedy-Clinton dinner. That’s John F. Kennedy, the womanizer and philanderer who brought prostitutes into the White House, not Teddy Kennedy who drove a woman to her death and then was revered by Democrats for decades. And Bill Clinton, the man who not only abused his power over women but was accused by multiple women over decades, of sexual assault and rape; not Hillary Clinton who victimized her husband’s sexual assault victims.
These are the men the New Hampshire Democrats believe should be honored at their annual event. All while claiming some moral superiority over Republicans or anyone else when it comes to be the “party of women.”
The Concord Monitor featured a story about the event in which chair Ray Buckley was asked about taking Clinton’s name off of the event:
Asked by the Monitor if the state party should have a conversation regarding taking Clinton’s name off the dinner, Buckley said, “I think it would be an interesting conversation right after we see the resignation of Donald Trump.”
Ironic considering Buckley was once also accused of sexual harassment. Of course, Democrats investigated and claimed to find nothing out of line. How quaint that the party who has supported and revered a serial sexual assaulter and accused rapist didn’t find allegations against Buckley to be serious:
“As was appropriate under the circumstances, a full investigation into the anonymous allegations of misconduct against Raymond Buckley has been completed,” Larsen, who chairs the caucus, said in the statement. She added that it was the policy of the caucus not to comment on personnel matters.
Meanwhile, you have some female New Hampshire House Representatives, like Democrat Debra Altschiller, claiming there is a “rape culture” at the state house. They have nothing to back that statement up of course but they still like to throw those words around in order to claim women are somehow constantly being mistreated. This from women who belong to the party that reveres Kennedy and Clinton.
Altschiller even penned an op-ed in the Concord Monitor in which she claims “Rape Culture is pervasive at the State House:”
I am not proud, in fact I am devastated and sad to say that rape culture is pervasive at the State House. To be clear, rape culture is “a society or environment whose prevailing social attitudes have the effect of normalizing or trivializing sexual assault and abuse.” I have witnessed this on a weekly basis in Concord.
It seems Altschiller has ignored that her own party has trivialized sexual assault and abuse by supporting both Bill and Hillary Clinton over the years, and to this day. Altschiller further proves her hypocrisy with the following tweet the day after her party was honoring a serial sexual assaulter and accused rapist at a dinner:
What New Hampshire Democrats don’t seem to grasp is Bill Clinton paved the way for Donald J. Trump. As much as these people claim they abhor that Trump said he liked to “grab them by the p*ssy,” they actually support a president who DID indeed grab women by the p*ssy.
New Hampshire Democrats have a whole lot of explaining to do as to why they thought honoring Clinton with a dinner was appropriate. They have a whole lot of cleaning up of the own filth in their party to do before pointing their fingers at anyone else.
Democrats like to cast the first stone but those who live in glass houses should be fearful of the boulders that will be cast back.
