Trump Admin Scrubs Green Scum From EPA and Interior

EPAWhat a beautiful sound. It’s the primal scream coming from the left when confronted with headlines like this from the Washington Post.

EPA dismisses half of key board’s scientific advisers; Interior suspends more than 200 advisory panels

EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt decided to replace half of the members on one of its key scientific review boards, while Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke is “reviewing the charter and charge” of more than 200 advisory boards, committees and other entities both within and outside his department.

These experts were appointed by Obama to advance progressive agenda items in the name of science but when their appointed term expires the Trump Administration isn’t inviting them back. They’ll be replaced, presumably, or–with any luck–they will simply cease to exist once the terms of all their members expire.

I’m sure whatever they were doing can be done at the state level with local minds, interests, and money no longer pillaged to feed Washington’s appetite for armies of ‘experts.’
