NH Constitutional Carry to be Signed Into Law Today – Takes Effect Immediately

Concealed-carryGovernor Chris Sununu will make constitutional carry the law of the land in New Hampshire at a signing ceremony scheduled for 10:30 this morning.

SB12 makes obtaining a pistol or revolver license optional for New Hampshire Residents who are legally permitted under state and federal law to own a pistol or revolver. The law takes effect immediately.

Repeal.  RSA 159:4, relative to requiring a license to carry a concealed pistol or revolver, is repealed.
Effective Date.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
