Tesla Wins 20MW Power Grid Contract.

tesla-logosTesla won a contract to provide 20MW of power storage in California. As with all things Tesla and Elon Musk, my first question is who is paying for it? Musk has sponged up nearly $5 billion in taxpayer dollars to front his various innovations and some argue that this backstop is the only thing keeping his ventures profitable.

So, when Musk underbids everyone else to provide a lithium battery storage warehouse for California Edison, is he able to do that because you (willingly or not) continue to be a reliably “deep pocketed” sugar daddy?
