Thank goodness for the Citizens United decision because now we can all see this movie and it will not be banned regardless that it’s about a Democrat politician. It looks delicious in its portrayal of the detestable nastiness that is the history of the Democrat party. You know slavery, eugenics, the KKK, lynchings, anti Civil Rights, racism, corrupt unions, social engineering, social control, corrupt city bosses etc. Hopefully, it will also cover the envy the Democrats and the Progressives had for Stalin, Benito, and the other totalitarians (heck some of them still do). It recalls the video at the opening of the last Democrat National Convention when they said, “The Government is the only thing that we all belong to.” This movie looks like it takes a look at the ugly, invidious core of that sentiment.
