Susan Sarandon says some famous Bernie Sanders fans are nervous to voice their support for the presidential hopeful because they fear backlash from their Hollywood pals – or from Hillary.
“You know, there’s a lot of people I’ve talked to who are afraid,” she told The Hollywood Reporter. “They say ‘I am definitely supporting him, but I’m afraid to come out’ because either I am woman and I don’t want to get shamed — because that has been a big part of what the response has been — or they say, ‘I am just waiting to see what happens.’
So, they are afraid of what, getting blacklisted? Intimidated? Silenced? They can’t freely associate or speak their minds for fear or repercussion from fellow progressives on the compassionate left?
This is too damn funny, because this is how the left advances its agenda.
This silence you must keep is a feature of an ideology that cannot brook dissent. It is not open to choices or alternatives. It does not reach across the aisle. It is not compassionate. It only cares about what it wants and how to get it, just like Hillary Clinton. And it can only ever be truly “successful” when it does to everyone, about everything, what you claim it is doing to Bernie Supporters in Hollywood. Keeping them silent for fear of what might happen if they oppose the decisions of power brokers in party leadership.
