My point with any big government person, be it Trump, Obama or Hillary, is that once you give them the power, it’s hard to get it back and you lose control over your own lives. You end up putting your faith that they will not abuse that power. If that’s what you want, so be it.
Mr. Trump is a national populist with a spotty worldview, and while the Establishment’s horror at his popularity is fun to watch, had any other Republican candidate spoken even half of the words Mr. Trump has spoken (listen above for a sample), they would be shunned by most if not all the conservatives and libertarians who support him now and have crucified ‘Establishment RINO’s’ for a lot less.
