Girard at Large | One hundred thousand six hundred thirty nine.  That’s how many votes Donald J. Trump officially received in Tuesday’s primary.  The vote tally gave Trump thirty five point six percent of the record two hundred eighty two thousand eight hundred four votes cast in the Republican Primary.  Ohio Governor John Kasich finished a distant second with forty four thousand eight hundred seventy eight votes, or fifteen point nine percent of the vote.  Bunched up in third, fourth and fifth place were Texas Senator Ted Cruz with thirty three thousand two hundred fourteen votes, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush with thirty one thousand three hundred forty one and Florida Senator Marco Rubio with twenty nine thousand nine hundred ninety one votes.
