Government employee goes on shooting rampage

REDLANDS, Calif. — Law enforcement officials have identified Syed Rizwan Farook as one of the suspected shooters who attacked a center for the disabled in San Bernardino, Calif.

“…it is Syed Rizwan Farook, an environmental health specialist at the San Bernardino County Health Department, whom the police named Wednesday night as the shooting suspect.”

Some more details from NBC

Details:

  • The shooting erupted during a holiday party in a conference room. Fourteen people were killed.
  • At least 10 of the 17 wounded are in critical condition.
  • Police shot two suspects after a high-speed chase in a shootout hours later. They were identified as a man Syed Rizwan Farook, 28, and a woman, Tashfeen Malik, 27.
  • The suspects were killed.
  • A third person seen fleeing from the scene of the shootout is in custody.
  • A police officer was wounded in the shootout.

And don’t forget, the shooting happened two miles from a Planned Parenthood.

So. Is it time to talk about irresponsible government rhetoric leading to violence?

And can you imagine how much worse it would be if we didn’t have the healer and unifier Barack Obama in the White House? /snark

*Muslim names….probably just a coincidence.
