If New Hampshire is to continue relying so heavily on businesses for state revenue, they need to make the business climate more inviting in the state.
New Hampshire, because it has neither a sales tax or income tax, relies heavily on business owners to generate revenue for the state. Given that model, you would expect legislators and regulators to pass or defend policies that make the Granite State a top-tier candidate for start-ups and expansions. Unfortunately, you would also be wrong.
