The Buffer Zone Repeal was aborted so an unnecessary lawsuit may now move forward – at your expense.
Two Republican state Senators, Nancy Stiles (a co-sponsor of the original law) and Jerry Little, sided with every Democrat in the chamber to lock the vote. Republican state Sen. Jeb Bradley voted for the repeal bill, but then quickly moved to table it after the tie.
At the request of Watchdog Arena, New Hampshire Right to Life (NHRTL) President Jane Cormier issued the following statement about the failure to repeal:
