Every time the Democrats blame out-of-state money for why they lost an election–aside from ignoring how they always have and spend more of same — they are insulting every voter in that district.
The assumption is that money is what bought your vote whether it was spent to get you to the polls or spent to get you stay home. Under no circumstance are you, regardless of your decision, voting based on your own free will.
But that makes sense coming from Democrats.
They don’t vote of their own free will. They admit that they vote in a block. And they spend insane amounts of money to advance their agenda. They pay protesters to protest for them. They pay for vans and buses to ferry voters to the polls, quite often from out-of-state. (They pay out-of-state staffers to work on a NH House race.)
They also spend insane amounts of other people’s money to advance their agenda by using the government to redistribute taxes and fees to favored constituencies and manufactured victim-groups. That money, our money, is not to relieve some ill or evil as they would have you believe. It is spent to buy loyalty in the form of voter turn out. So when their bribes fail to produce the desired results the only possible explanation has to be that someone else out bid them.
But that is rarely if ever the case and certainly not here in New Hampshire.
I’m quite sure Maureen Mann outspent Yvonne Dean-Bailey in Rockingham 32 by at least a 3-1 margin (without all the free union labor on their GOTV.)
And they lost.
If the Democrats didn’t buy the election, someone else must have.
