Subject: A SAD DAY FOR HOUSE REPUBLICANS

Fellow Loyal Dedicated Republican Representatives,
I have been a veteran activist for years, a Proud Representative going on my 5th term and I can continue that fight as a Representative voted in by the people of my district.

I can not accept a chairs position, nor do I expect to be asked because I couldn’t live with myself knowing that the new Democrat Speaker “Screwed Republicans” for his own gain and not the good of the Republican party.

How can the New Democrat Speaker say he respects the institution but he disrespects the Republican Caucus by making a back room deal with the Democrats? Are you proud of that or just don’t care for some who are only concern about what leadership/parking you have?

Some want to play nice, move on but I say open your eyes and ears, look at the past. This happened once before, a little different but the Democrats did pick the speaker and everyone sucked it up, in hopes that it will never happen again. Well it did and now our Democrat Speaker is broken, he don’t even qualify to have a seat at the state GOP executive board because the bylaws were change from the last time a rep only cared about himself.

I can not sit in a leadership meeting, listening and supporting someone who screwed over the Republican Caucus. Wouldn’t that be hypocritical of me?

This has put a black eye on the house republicans. If we don’t stop this now, then any shi**y republican in the future that disagrees with our caucus, will just make a deal with the Democrats because we have a history of rolling over like little puppets, saying it’s over, let’s sing cumbaya. Not me, I choose to stand my ground.

I am sorry, integrity, loyalty and my being a team player are more important to me as a person, rather than turn my back for a leadership position.

I will never sell my soul to the devil for any chair position or a parking spot.

Some may disagree but don’t worry, I will fight this for the next two years, knowing I must make sure the next person who even thinks about screwing our caucus, understands the consequences.

We must stick together, we spoke at our caucus, picked our speaker unanimously, only to be screwed over by RINOS and ego driven Reps that made a deal with the Democrats, who only care for themselves and leadership positions. I can’t do that!

Not me, I’ll stick with the TEAM concept because there’s no doubt in my mind, that everyone will achieve more by sticking together.

We were sent to Concord to look out for our constituents, not our egos. I don’t report to any speaker or leadership team and I am only held accountable to my God, family and constituents, who put their trust in me to earn the Honorable title.

As a member of the House Republican Alliance, I will continue that roll, to push republican bills forward and not follow what the new Democrat Speaker decides is good for us, just do your homework on his voting record.

Just my opinion,

Al
