New Hampshire Democrat Peggy Gilmour and her fellow travelers have invested a lot in mailers depicting her opponent Kevin Avard as an enemy of children and education.
This debate can be boiled down to this: Kevin trusts parents, Gilmour believes in bureaucrats. Kevin prefers local control; Gilmour prefers state or national control. Kevin Trusts you to, Gilmour does not.
If she trusted you, she’d do more to empower you to make choices on where and how to educate YOUR child. Her voting history demonstrates the opposite’ her derision for voters and parents and a persistent desire to keep control in the hands of distant ‘experts’ and unreachable cabinet level bureaucrats.
Gilmour is not ‘For the Children,’ she is for the bureaucracy, one that she expects you to pay for…and to obey.
