I don’t follow my twitter feed much at night but I happened on it this evening and the Twitterverse (NH Edition) is all over the debates. Guinta and Shea-Porter, Shaheen and Brown, there’s even residue from Kuster and Garcia. (Annie is mean!)
I’m not a reporter nor a campaign operative so I can happily lean back and say “Life is too short to spend it watching narcissists squabble over rhetoric.” I recorded The Blacklist, Scorpion, and The Walking Dead–which is, well– never mind. But other people do watch debates, and, lucky for me, they use twitter.
While there was plenty of back and forth on twitter, this one tweet caught my eye, from Drew Cline at the Union leader.

So in this debate Jeanne ‘Heart Obama’s Agenda’ Shaheen has denied her love for Obama’s agenda by denying him faux-Alison Lundergrerern..(aaargh!) Grimes style, but has gone on the record (again) as being proud of Obamacare, which as Drew points out, is less popular in New Hampshire than even the President.
I guess if you’re a Democrat, and you are going to stick your head up out of the hole you’ve been hiding in, you should remind people of your devotion to the least popular piece of legislation in recent memory. That’s good advice, whoever gave that to th Senator. Good advice.
The pundit spread, by the way, says that the Shaheen is Proud of ObamaCare debate quote will be in a campaign ad and on TV by Thursday. I guess we’ll know soon enough.
Update- I guess Shaheen, in the debate, said she never opposed nuclear power, but she protested against Seabrook Station, and hey–there’s YouTube video of her opposing it. (Shaheen = Liar)
