Now!? She Objects to the Gas Tax Increase?

Take ’em out to the wood shed…

Democrat Governor signs bill sponsored by prominent State Senate Republicans.  NHGOP Party Chair develops a public problem with it after it goes into effect.

This morning, gas taxes in New Hampshire are 23 percent higher, thanks to Governor Hassan.  23 percent.  In a time when working class families and small businesses are already struggling to make ends meet in the Obama-Hassan economy, a 23 percent gas tax increase is the last thing the Granite State needs.

So it follows that Republican State Senate Sponsors of this tax increase, Senators Stiles, Boutin, and Rausch, (add Bob Odell who did not sponsor it but voted for it) are also “the last thing the Granite State needs.” (Rausch and Odell retired.  That leaves Stiles and Boutin.)

...
Governor Hassan is even ignoring the precedent set by her mentor, Governor John Lynch, who repeatedly opposed this devastating tax increase on the middle class because it was bad for New Hampshire.  Her complete and total failure to adequately manage our state budget has forced her to rely on tax increases and budget gimmicks that kill jobs and hurt the middle class in our state.

Grrr.
