Voter ID Popular with NH Citizens But Not The NH Media?

The Dartmouth College of Sexual Assault and Left-Wing Learning recently produced data that demonstrated high approval among registered NH voters for requiring ID to vote.  Seventy-five percent of those polled, many of whom also favored a gender equality amendment and stricter gun control, thought that presenting an ID at the polls was a good idea.  Almost 60% of Democrats agreed.  But the NH Media is not covering this story.

When I google any combination of search terms that might produce results, the only local news hit I get other than my story here at GraniteGrok is for New Hampshire public radio, and they only mention it in passing while talking about gun control and gender equality results in the same poll.

National level blogs reported on the survey out of Dartmouth immediately.  I reported it on it Tuesday, but other than myself and NHPR, good luck finding a story on it in the old Man Of the NH Media.

I guess what I really want to know is why?

Dartmouth apparently releases this survey every single year.  It’s not something new.  So where is the press on this story?  What are they waiting for?
