Here is an interview between a reporter for the Concord Monitor and NH House Rep Steve Vaillancourt. Steve is discussing decriminalizing marijuana. It was recorded on a tablet so the audio is hard to hear in places…can’t be helped. (I’ll try to export this to audio and enhance it-will repost it as an MP3 if that works.)
Steve addresses a number of objections to the bill and goes on to point out that Susan Almy, the chair of the Ways and Means Committee, doesn’t want to hold a public hearing on HB 492 because she doesn’t want to listen to people talk about the marijuana issue while they are only dealing with the tax portion.
From a Rep about the committee business…” The situation stinks and likely won’t be resolved without someone complaining. Expect that someone to be Vaillancourt”
