Groktionary

We were having some fun this morning–actually I was having some fun–putting the Grok prefix to a host of suffixes for my own amusement.  The catalyst for this was a request from Skip to all the Groksters for some guidance regarding something Grok related that we’ve been working on for a while, that he will be announcing in the near future.  I took it upon myself to just invent a list of these things, some obvious, some with qualifiers, and at least one with a complete definition.

So here it is, the short list at least, to which I refer.

Update: Just fixed some formatting issues caused by junk HTML.  (GrokFix?)

GrokGroupies

GrokPals (Under the age of 8?)

Groksterettes (like Rockettes?)

Grokettes (female fans?)

GrokBros

GrokBuddies

Grokaholic

Grokophiles

Grokodiles

Grokicographers (Keeping track of us)

GrokLunks (Dopey but reliable followers)

Groktographers (People who take pictures of and for the Grok)

Grokists (snooty pretentious..?)

Grokogandists (those obsessed with misrepresenting everything we say?)

Grokamaticians

Groktober (comes after September)

Grokolithic (Historical Grok etched in Granite)

GrokWarming (the man-made act of heating a burrito in the microwave)

Grokasaurus

Grokatopia

Grokatosis (…when your breath has the sweet scent of liberty)

Grokism

Grokontingency operations

Grokapalooza

Grokalifragilisticexpialidocious

(The emphasis is different on this last one, Gro-kalifragilisticexpialidocious);  I know, I know, it sounds atrocious.

I’ll stop there.  But there is no end to the possibilities, including the insulting ones I now (hopefully?) expect to see in comments.  And that’s fine, as long as they are creative and not vulgar–those will get tossed into the digital ether by Skip, the great and powerful moderator.  Otherwise have at it. Just know that we may choose to blog about them and that we are way past the point of being offended, angered, intimidated, or insulted by any of it.   Well, I’m past it.
