THE NETWORK FOR EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY ANNOUNCES NH EDUCATION TAX CREDIT SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION SESSION

SOMERSWORTH, NH – The Network for Educational Opportunity (NEO), announces a Scholarship Information Session to be held March 14 (Thurs.) at 7:45 at Tri-City Christian Academy’s Open House, bringing school options and scholarship information to families.

Thanks to a law passed by the New Hampshire legislature, families may be eligible for financial need-based scholarship awards to pay tuition at an independent/private school, a public school outside of their district, or for homeschooling expenses. This has created a flurry of interest from families in need and levels the playing field, giving low-income children the opportunity to attend a school they would otherwise not be able to afford.

To connect parents with scholarship information and information about the many schools they are now empowered to choose, the NEO Scholarship Information Session will be held on March 14th at 7:45 at Tri-City Christian Academy, 12 Rocky Hill Rd., Somersworth, NH 03878.

Representatives from The Network for Educational Opportunity will be on hand to explain the financial need-based Education Tax Credit Scholarships available to families. To qualify for scholarship eligibility, you must have a child/children between the ages of 5 and 20 who has not yet graduated from high school. Your income must not exceed 300% of the federal poverty level, which means $69,150 for a family of four or $81,030 for a family of five (add $11,880 for each additional person in your family).

No registration is necessary for the Open House or the Scholarship Information Session. All members of the community are welcome to attend this family-friendly event. Light snacks and refreshments will be served. More information about the Education Tax Credit Scholarship Program can be found at www.networkforeducation.org or call 888-325-1776.

The Network for Educational Opportunity (NEO) is a nonprofit (501c3) education networking and scholarship organization devoted to helping families find real education solutions for their children.
