"Northeast has no power and FEMA has no non-Internet emergency information access readily available.."

This story from Politco paints a picture of preparedness from the experts in the White House.   Want an update about the Hurricane, just check the internet…

When President Barack Obama urged Americans under siege from Hurricane Sandy to stay inside and keep watch on ready.gov for the latest, he left out something pretty important — where to turn if the electricity goes out.

There’s more…

A call to FEMA’s news desk, however, found even they didn’t have any non-Internet information readily available…

What makes this most amusing is that (at least) since Obama took office AM radio has been blitzed weekly with PSA’s promoting the web site Ready.gov.  Make a plan.  Be informed.

No one at Ready.gov seems to have had a plan or been informed about how to communicate to people if there is no internet.  Calling 911 might work in the willy-wags but in a city…save your dimeQuarter.  Quarters…

I guess what they should of been telling people is “Caution Inside the Beltway ‘Experts’ at work.”

Use the internet…no power?  Doh!  And they want to run your health care system.  Bah!
