It’s called “Day-by-Day,” and it’s drawn and written by Chris Muir, an accidental cartoonist who lives in Florida. His story is one of extraordinary “underground success.” Back in May I sent him an email complimenting him on one of his cartoons. A few minutes later somebody calls my office and says “Is this Tim Condon? This is Chris Muir.” Heh! Couldda knocked me over with a feather! We chatted for a time and I found out…
…he’s a former engineer (a smart guy!) who took up “cartooning” for fun, and because he has a knack for it. BUT—and here’s the kicker—Chris is extremely knowledgeable about politics, political philosophy, geopolitics, history, and plenty much else that we partisans of Liberty & Freedom care about. His cartoon panels reflect it: He’s a libertarian-conservative type, and puts out cartoon panels that are far funnier and far more insightful than Gary Trudeau’s left-wing “Doonesbury” cartoons ever were.
So of course Chris has no national syndication. Thing is, I’m not sure he would want it. His cartoons are wickedly subversive, and laugh-out-loud funny as they tackle every current issue that appears on the front pages of the dying Mainstream Media…virtually in real time! “How come your women in your cartoons are so beautiful and curvaceous?” I asked him. “Isn’t that politically incorrect?”
“Oh yeah,” he laughed. “That’s the way I draw them because that’s the way I like them.” I’m telling you, this guy is good.
Bottom line? Chris Muir puts out his subversive, anti-statist cartoon series entirely over the Internet (you can subscribe to his Day By Day cartoon series HERE, and get it delivered to you by email every day, just like I do!). He also subsists entirely upon voluntary donations from his increasing readership. I’m going to give him a chunk of money this year, and urge you all to do the same. I’ve put his cartoons into GraniteGrok in the past, and distributed some of his more wickedly funny observations all over the place…especially to statists (makes ’em go ballistic).
So go on over to Chris Muir’s Day-By-Day cartoon website HERE, and sign up to get his cartoons delivered to you daily (thus cutting out the Lamestream media middleman). Then stroke him a check and send it along to the address indicated. We can do worse than make fun of statists and Regressives (not “progressives” please; they stand for everything other than “progress”) every day of the week.
