AP: no longer who, what, when; just their slanted of why

To the Editor:

The American people are sick and tired of the AP’s repeated attempts to whitewash the attacks on peaceful Christians in Egypt by violent Muslims who are burning churches and killing innocent civilians. This journalistic fraud is compounded by the cowardly collaboration of newspapers like USA Today who then contribute with their own half-truths and obfuscatory headlines like: "Mob Attacks Christian Protest in Egypt".

Clearly, USA Today refuses to be accurate in their headlines because the greatest P.C. sin which inspires their cowardice is to offend violent Muslims or fellow-leftists. Why not be truthful and accurate and make the headline: "Muslim Mob Attacks Christian Protesters in Egypt"? One doesn’t attack a "protest", one attacks human beings. This is a clear attempt to downplay the facts, namely, that innocent, peaceful Christians who are already treated like 2nd-class citizens in Muslim-majority Egypt are now being targeted for extermination by the violent jihadis who many non-leftists warned would replace Mubarrak. But, the left-wing shills in the AP and USA Today and elsewhere claimed without any proof that Jeffersonian democracy was blossoming in Cairo and across the Muslim Middle East, contrary to all of Muslim history which has not produced as many democracies as can be counted on one hand.

The AP author-liar refers to: "Religious clashes", and "deadly Christian-Muslim clashes that left a church burned and 15 people dead." This is a bald-faced lie. There were no "Christian-Muslim" clashes. That’s like saying that on Sept. 11th, 2001 "American-Muslim clashes resulted in nearly 3000 dead in New York City." or "religious clashes resulted in 300 dead children in Beslan Russia." What happened last week were rampaging Muslim mobs killing Christians totally unprovoked and then burning their churches while Egyptian muslim, authorities stood by and watched. The American media-shills for violent jihadism in the Middle East may think that all Americans are too stupid to see through their false euphemisms and sugar-coating of Muslim violence, but you’re sorely wrong, and USA Today and the AP should be ashamed of themselves for even attempting this underhanded editorial tactic.
