Couple that with a "science czar" that believes in eugenics, much like, apparently, Ruth Bader Gingsburg and, ahem, "prominent" famous scoundrels from history, and what have you got? After being told they would NEVER be allowed to participate in the Nation’s oldest Independence Day parade again because they were passing out copies of the Declaration/Constitution, it appears that cooler heads have prevailed, and the Rhode Island Tea Party folks have been granted a reprieve. They will NOT, after all, be prevented from participating in the future. Float organizer and activist Marina Peterson will join us and give us the scoop. It’s amazing what hundreds of emails, phone calls, and the white hot glare of new media attention can accomplish in a short time!

US Senator Jim DeMint (R-SC), according to the flap on his new book, Saving Freedom, "understands a country’s greatness is found in its people and values, not its government." Ranked by National Journal as the Senate’s "most conservative member," we are pleased to welcome him to MTNP radio to discuss the number one issue we face today: socialism. We’ll find out why its sirens’ song is so strong, and what we must do to resist it. Have we become a nation of dependency, cashing in our personal responsibilities and freedom?

‘Grok readers will certainly recall the post about Arizona Pastor Steven Anderson’s run in with US Border Patrol agents 50 miles NORTH of the Mexican border and the frightening violation of his 4th Amendment rights… and the subsequent tazing and injuries he sustained during his arrest and detention back on April 14th. During a July 4th Tea Party speech, he told the crowd, "big government is the enemy!" Pastor Anderson will join us to discuss the events back in April, and why it is important to take a stand for ALL of our God-given rights. He also had some harsh words for Republicans, who he contends are just as complicit in the problems we face today as the Democrats.
