What the heck is happening in NH? While House Democrats argued, debated, and constructed bathrooms and who can go in them, and were busy repealing the death penalty for cop killers, they also passed a budget. Perhaps you heard? Probably not, though, given everything else dominating the agenda and the news. And the fact that there was very little debate or discussion to begin with. ======= ** NHGOP Chair Gov. John H. Sununu drops by for some damage assessment and what can be done to make a last ditch attempt at saving the Granite State as we know it. ======= ** We’ll also chat the District 3 Senate race. Has it come to a referendum on gay marriage? It’s not too often people have such a direct say at such a critical juncture of the legislative process. Jeb will vote no. Apparently, the Democrat will vote yes. Every vote on the Senate is crucial. This vote couldn’t come at a more opportune time for the voters of that district.

Dr. Donna Harrison is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist and fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She resides in Berrien Center, MI, with her husband, Dr. Mark Harrison, and their five children. In 2000, Dr. Harrison closed her clinical practice to pursue a more active role in public policy work and is the president of American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists (AAPLOG) ======= ** The conscience regulation is a Health and Human Service clarification of three existing civil laws that protect a doctor’s right to practice medicine according to his or her conscience. The regulation was passed in December 2008 by the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to protect healthcare workers from discrimination, intimidation and coercion to perform or refer patients for abortions. The conscience regulation applies to doctors, healthcare providers, medical interns and medical students. Abortion special interest groups have met the regulation with strong opposition and are pressuring the current administration to rescind, which, is being actively considered, with public input just wrapping up last week.Dr. Harrison warns:
“If passed, future tax dollars and the government could discriminate against doctors, nurses and other health specialists who choose not to perform medical procedures that conflict with their ethical convictions such as abortion. If the conscience clause is rescinded, many of the faith-based hospitals (557 Catholic hospitals that make up 15-20% of hospital patient care in the US) around the country that provide services to millions of patients could be shut down rather than perform abortions. The future impact on U.S healthcare would be dire.”
Did you know a majority of Americans support conscience rights protection?

Drew Johnson is the president of the Tennessee Center for Policy Research (TCPR) During his first appearance on MTNP radio, he had recently received notoriety with a Drudge link, reporting that the AlGore mansion in Nashville consumed over twenty times the electricity of the average American household— using in a month more than most homes use in a whole year. More recently, Mr. Johnson provided the following in a Facebook entry regarding Earth Hour and Gore:
Since Earth Hour was recognized today, Saturday, March 28 from 8:30-9:30pm, I thought I’d see how the hypocritical, fear-mongering former Veep was celebrating at his home. I pulled up to Al’s house, located in the posh Belle Meade section of Nashville, at 8:48pm – right in the middle of Earth Hour. I found that the main spotlights that usually illuminate his 9,000 square foot mansion were dark, but several of the lights inside the house were on.
In fact, most of the windows were lit by the familiar blue-ish hue indicating that floor lamps and ceiling fixtures were off, but TV screens and computer monitors were hard at work. (In other words, his house looked the way most houses look about 1:45am when their inhabitants are distractedly watching “Cheaters” or “Chelsea Lately” reruns.) The kicker, though, were the dozen or so floodlights grandly highlighting several trees and illuminating the driveway entrance of Gore’s mansion.
I [kid] you not, my friends, the savior of the environment couldn’t be bothered to turn off the gaudy lights that show off his goofy trees.
We’ll also get his assessment of the new Public-Private Investment Program (PPIP) and his take on the Tea Party movement.

Was that President Obama sitting at the picnic table with Hillary? Gee, do you think they even bothered discussing the pirate situation? Does anyone think we’ll follow the procedure to deal with this very issue as plainly laid out by President Jefferson? Those that forget history are doomed to repeat it…
