Bosse: Fresh face. Hard worker. Knows the issues…
We have made no secret of the fact that, over in NH’s Second Congressional District, Grant Bosse has caught our attention and has us rather excited over his candidacy. We like him so much, we have endorsed his candidacy for the Republican nomination in the upcoming September 9th primary in order to take on the Democratic incumbent Paul Hodes in the November election.
Today’s Concord Monitor carried an extensive piece reporting on Bosse’s campaign that included words from two Granite State blogs you might have heard of before:
"In general, Grant Bosse seems to be hustling a little more than the rest," said Dean Barker, co-founder of the liberal blog Blue Hampshire, which supports Hodes.

Bosse picked up the endorsement of the conservative blog Granite Grok because of his strong internet presence, combined with his constant presence on the campaign trail and his conservative ideas.
Doug Lambert, co-founder of Granite Grok, said although all the candidates have websites and e-mail blasts, Bosse caught his eye because of his blog and web videos. "They’re using technology that’s able to upload quickly and make real time responses to their opponents, which is something we feel is lacking among many politicians, especially on the Republican side," Lambert said. "Grant truly has the ability and makeup to actually be a blogger."
Lambert believes Bosse will reach younger voters. "It’s like when you’re a kid and did science projects, there were one or two that had a laptop and did a multimedia presentation," he said. "Grant is that kid."
Even the liberal Barker praised Bosse on his blog. Barker wrote that Bosse "has been working harder and more creatively" than the other Republicans and "seems to get New Media" better than them.
Heh! This is probably one of the very few times we’ll ever agree with Dean and the gang at Blue Hampshire. Click here to read the whole report as written by reporter Shira Shoenberg.
Even those who disagree with his platform admit that Bosse is everywhere – first in line to file with the secretary of state, and present at press conferences, parades and campaign office openings.
That’s Grant… working to earn those votes. Other Republicans should take notice at what he’s doing.
