As usual, this week’s broadcast version of GraniteGrok and AnkleBitingPundits brings an array of items and guests for your consideration– ALL STARTING AT 9AM! As always, thanks to the technical wizardry and analytical skills of Skip, if you are beyond the broadcast area of Newstalk 1490 WEMJ, simply click here for instructions on how to connect and listen on the Internet via livestream. (Podcasts here)

Jeb Bradley

  • Special Co-host Jeb Bradley will join us in studio for the first hour of the program. As most readers already know, Mr. Bradley is NH’s former 1st NH Congressional District representative currently seeking the GOP nod for the chance to unseat Democrat Carol Shea Porter in the November election. Phone calls are encouraged (as always) at 603-527-1490.

Iraq soldier

The father of Army Sgt. Alex Jimenez, of Lawrence, Mass., said the remains of his son and another soldier, Pvt. Byron W. Fouty, of Waterford, Mich., had been identified in Iraq.

We’ll reiterate the importance of the POW/MIA terminology and recall that there are still two men yet missing from the desert wars, Capt Scott Speicher and SPC Ahmed Altaie. We’ll also recall that there are still many more missing from prior wars as well. Never Forget!!!!

  • Steve DeMaura of Americans for Job Security (AJS) brings us up to date on a variety of topics that working folks need to know about. AJS puts forth pro-growth, pro-jobs ideas to the American people. From the beginning their message has been a simple one: free markets and pro-paycheck public policy are fundamental to building a strong economy and creating more and better paying jobs. We’ll talk about their latest Jeanne Shaheen ad, and why working NH-erites should pay attention. Steve has worked in the political realm here in the Granite State and elsewhere. He has worked and/or volunteered in numerous state senate campaigns, Bruce Keough’s gubernatorial bid, congressional campaigns, and, until recently, Steve pulled a stint at the NHGOP. The AJS is about reducing taxes, free markets and free trade, education reform, transportation issues, health care reform & modernization, and resolving energy issues. We’re all for that!

  • We’ll try to squeeze in a couple of local issues as well. There has been more fallout from the post on the Teen "Family" Planning poster here locally. I wrote about it in my weekly Daily Sun column and it has one local liberal in a state of near apoplexy. We’ll also briefly touch upon the concept of tax free (or reduced tax) living within a property tax-funded system of government. Is this, to use a favorite lib term, "fair?"

Wow! It all starts at 9AM EST Saturday. Tune in if you’re in Central NH at NewsTalk 1490AM WEMJ or live on the ‘Net here… The best radio (in our humble opinions) anywhere…
