  • He’s baaaaack! Pat Hynes returns! He’ll give us the lowdown on what he’s been up to… We hear he’s toolin’ around in a fancy new ride these days. We’re all eagerly waiting to see if he’s got some new sweatpants to go with the new wheels, or if he’ll be sporting the same ones he had on the last few times we saw him…

Pat6 Hynes.

Patrick Hynes – does he turn you on as much as his new car?

  • Jack Terrell is the executive director of our local United Way chapter. In the ongoing debate over funding of non governmental "outside agencies" with local property taxes, he has offered the UW up as a "mediator" or "middleman" of sorts. This will be an interesting exchange, for sure…

  • MTNP fave Jen Rubin contributes to the American Spectator, Human Events, Commentary Magazine.com’s Contentions blog, along with a host of other excellent magazines, websites, and news organizations. Jennifer reports John McCain will be "Hamas’ worst nightmare." I like that. That’s the opposite of what we’d hear from Obama or Hillary, no doubt. We’ll discuss the ongoing Democratic campaign that we’re all just lovin’ around here. Has Obama fallen from grace? Looking ahead to Indiana and North Carolina. Can Hillary win the primary? Can Obama win the election? Will McCain pull one out in November?

  • Tim Cameron is the founder of the Facebook group "We Want Summertime Gas Relief". After my card stopped the pump at a hundred bucks and my gas tank in my new truck still wasn’t full today, I figured I need some relief too. Sign me up! We’ll talk about about Senator McCain’s proposal to suspend the federal gas tax this summer. Senator Obama supported such a move many years ago, when gas was still less than two bucks a gallon. Now he doesn’t. What gives? We’ll kick around some solutions as well.
