As noted in the prior post, Michigan Congressman Thaddeus McCotter has filed legislation (HR 5668) seeking to prevent President Bush’s attendance at the Summer Olympic Games in Communist China’s Beijing. In a letter to the President last September, McCotter asked the president to reconsider his decision to accept an invitation to the games, citing a "partial listing of the communist dictatorship’s rogue actions against our nation and others." Here’s that list:
-
Complicit in arming our enemies;
-
Engaging in espionage against us, including the use of cyber warfare;
-
Committing predatory trade practices against us;
-
Abetting genocide in the Sudan;
-
Compelling a "One Child Policy" and forcing abortions amongst its people;
-
Denying their people’s God-given human rights;
-
Violating basic labor rights;
-
Subverting sovereign democracies;
-
Subjugating Tibet; and
-
Supporting their fellow dictatorships and our other enemies.
Pretty bad when you add it all up. What do you think?
.
What do they need these for? Hmmm?
