Here’s the lineup:
-
Once again we will prove that while all politics is local, it’s really not– well, you know what I mean. We’ll talk to Jane Aitken about her latest post at NHInsider that includes some things to watch for at town meeting and within budgets no matter where you are in NH. Turns out that what she warns about is going on right here in our little hamlet in Central NH! Jane discusses the widely-circulated anti-tax pledge article, along with the dangers of the lovely-sounding International Baccalaureate Program. Among other things, Jane is a computer consultant, retired educator, and conservative activist who lives in New Hampshire.
-
Speaking of activists, (among other things) our friend and mentor Jorge Mesa Tejada will join us for a quick "lightening round" to give us his reaction to some of the silly reasons being put forth by local "leaders" here in the Lakes Region as to why the various towns shouldn’t adopt the Official Ballot method of voting at town and school district meetings (SB2).
-
Michigan Congressman Thadeus McCotter is the Chairman of the House Republican Policy Committee (HRPC). According to his bio on that group’s website, the Congressman "has focused his efforts on preserving and promoting manufacturing and small businesses…" He’ll talk about what we need to do as a Nation in order to help. He’ll tell us what the HRPC does and what we should expect to see as the election draws closer. We’ll talk earmarks and what needs to happen with them. He’ll give us his impressions of the future of the conservative movement, as observed at CPAC. Additionally, we’ll talk about the implications of the Dems leaving DC without renewing the FISA legislation and the "3-Com" deal involving the Chinese and why we should care– and why they’re mad– er, "BS" at Congressman McCotter. Finally, he’ll help us find the answer to those who question what it means to be a Republican.
-
Our buddy John Hawkins from RightWingNews and the Conservative Grapevine checks in with a roundup of what’s hot on the right side of the Blogosphere. He was at CPAC, too. We’ll get his impression of the events taking place at the annual gathering of conservatism’s leading figures. We’ll talk about possible McCain VP picks and who we’d all like to see him go with. John will discuss his latest TownHall column– Barack Obama: A Human Hallmark Card for President? Heh! Does John think he’ll win?
There you have it! It all starts at 9AM EST Saturday. Tune in if you’re in Central NH at NewsTalk 1490AM WEMJ or live on the ‘Net here… The best radio (in our humble opinions) anywhere…
