The THREAT of deportation. Could it be working?

Illegals crossing border
.
This article from Dallas Morning News is an eye opener.  Couple that with the recent report that the Windsor Bridge in Michigan is overcrowded with illegals fleeing to Canada for fear of deportation—and provincial governors in Canada crying “Uncle” because they don’t have the money to accommodate this influx—and one begins to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
.
On the other hand, there is this article from the same paper about Mexico’s effort to help threatened illegals in the US
.
All in all, the threat of deportation has become a more powerful weapon in the short run than the fence and securing the border.
.
There’s hope in them there prairies…
