EXTREMIST – Do not use. Avoid characterizing people. Often their actions do the work for the viewer. Could write ‘violent group’ if we’re reporting on Boko Haram agreeing to negotiate with the government. In other words, reporting on a violent group that’s in the news for a non-violent reason.

The Intimidation continues from the Earl of Metzler and Timberlane Regional School District.

School Board member Donna Green writes (in comments beneath this post):

“Timberlane is considering revising their policy on public participation at school board meetings to limit public comment to only those items on the agenda. In my nearly one year of service on the board, I’ve not been able to get a single one of my agenda requests on a regular meeting agenda. Good luck to members of the public requesting agenda time. Last week one citizen did so and was denied.”

After this citizen was denied his request, a letter was mailed to him from the SAU’s law firm instructing him to stop communicating with the superintendent. (Letter also on the jump)

I mentioned in our interview with Greg Kline from Red Maryland last Saturday that their new citizen journalism project had inspired me to duplicate something similar here in New Hampshire.  In Maryland, as in New Hampshire, media is pulling the plug on political reporters, not just at the state level, but locally as well.  Fewer stories are being reported, with many important local stories being overlooked.

And no, the Patch sites don’t really do the job and when they do they often apply the same liberal media tactic of controlling what the news is by not reporting some stories, like the no-bid contract in Windham.

This season on New Hampshire Democrat Governors,  last seasons only ‘legislative victory’–Medicaid Expansion–forces our “hero of the people” to make a difficult decision.

The budget is a problem so what is a “fiscally responsible” governor to do?  Sell grandma down the river and hope for rain.

Medicaid Maggie Hassan proposes $58 million cut from NH DHHS.

She is, to borrow from the appropriate Democrat narrative,  tossing the elderly and mental health patients under the budget bus.

Green Beret sniper, Bryan Sikes, takes poseur Moore to the mat with this Clash Daily write-up (also found here at Weasel Zippers).

I saw Moore’s comments before I went to see American Sniper.  Obviously, I think that anything that comes out of Moore’s extensive pie hole is a waste of CO2.  But after seeing the movie, I have a new appreciation for the vileness that lives within that Macy’s Day float of a human being.

The UL had an article recently on HHS taking $7 million away from nursing homes. This is $7,000,000.00 million that was approved in the 2014-2015 budget but that HHS had gone over in other areas. NH should protect life in all of its stages and regardless of the condition. People whose medical condition require nursing home treatment are still people.

HHS Commissioner Nick Toumpas says there are not any other options and Hassan says that taking money away from caring for seniors and the disabled in nursing homes is “fiscally responsible.” What would be fiscally responsible is to stop subsidizing abortion clinics and use that money to care for people in nursing homes.
