The Democrats love to claim that they are the keepers of Democracy and that they are the Party of the working class. Maybe they were 60 years ago, though it seems like some of the senior Dems have been in office since the Kennedy years; they could not be more removed from my parents’ Democrat … Read more
I started this article on Monday, and by Monday afternoon, Eric Swalwell was no longer a member of Congress. Even though he tried in vain to proclaim his innocence, his political career was finally over. I am sure I am not the only person who wanted to give him the boot to get him out … Read more
I was in front of the laptop at 1:30 this morning, trying desperately to make some sense out of all the thoughts racing through my head. I was not succeeding. I was debating with myself, and losing terribly, about the purpose of government in my life and whether it has helped me or held me … Read more
This is rich, very, very, rich. The Party and the people who have held Four-Letter Vigils, excoriating President Donald Trump and telling him what he could do to himself as he is walking out the door, are now offended when that same President uses the identical fourth-grade, locker-room vocabulary on the greatest terrorists in the … Read more
Secretary Markwayne Mullin may only be on the job for a couple of weeks, but he has already gotten under the skin of California Governor Gavin Newsom. The proposed plan by Mullin shows he will think outside the box and is serious about thwarting the protection of illegal aliens and criminals by Democratic Governors and … Read more
Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) published a reel on Facebook on Tuesday, and for once, she could not be more accurate, but not as she thinks. Warren was trying to make a point that President Donald Trump has, by his actions, shown himself to be unfit to serve, and people of both sides are scared about … Read more
The Left has found an alternative to the old-fashioned rose-colored glasses of optimism. The new version is the smokey-gray colored glasses of cynicism and pure hatred. This new relationship phase that has come about with the ever-widening divide between the Left and Right goes far beyond the tongue-in-cheek chatter about Trump Derangement Syndrome. TDS started … Read more
I do not put much stock in the inner thoughts of Michelle Obama because I do not think she is qualified to make such a broad sweeping statement. I believe the country is more than ready for a female chief executive, just not her. Folks on the Left talk like Mrs. Obama is destined to … Read more
When you watch your favorite news source or listen to the radio or podcasts, you know you are getting either a news or an opinion interpretation of the subject, and they can be very different. When I tune in to Megyn Kelly, Tucker Carlson, or (why would I torture myself) Rachel Maddow, I understand I … Read more
The President addressed the American people on Wednesday night, but listening to the supposed experts on CNN and MSNBC afterward showed they missed it. Nicolle Wallace was brought in for the recap because of her political expertise. Please, she spent her segment basically laughing at the President and his address. Kaitlin Collins on CNN was … Read more
Bernie Sanders was in New York this week to support Mayor Mamdani’s effort to raise taxes on the wealthy to close the budget gap caused by bad Democratic management of the world’s greatest city. Bernie attacked the rich who are leaving New York to avoid the high cost of residence in NYC as enemies of … Read more
I have had a chance to step back and look at the recent version of No King Day in America and to make some observations beyond the emotions of disgust and disdain that I felt for the event and participants last week. Unfortunately, I still have those emotions, but I have added sadness and disappointment … Read more
With the uptick in crime over the last few years, with a big help from the Biden Administration for allowing millions of unvetted criminals to enter our country and roam freely, we are becoming numb to a certain level of crime. It was reinforced when states like California set minimum thresholds for theft to be … Read more
When it comes to trying to evaluate or explain human behavior, it is not the time to resort to generalizations. It is not beneficial to stereotype, as that immediately discredits any of your observations, determinations, or opinions. But when it comes to Liberals or Democrats, I am starting to agree with Donald Trump when he … Read more
Chuck Schumer is 75 years old and has been in Washington since 1981 as a Representative and then as a Senator for the last 27 years. Schumer has spent more than half of his life in Congress. You would like to think that someone who has spent that many years on the public dole would … Read more
Wasting some time on MS Now this morning gave me a dose of Mika, sitting and bobbing her head; Mike Barnicle, who, like Biden, made a career out of plagiarism; and Cory Booker, who has turned his career into video clips and sound bites. It is not a question of why the network is cutting … Read more
So, the networks dumped her like a hot potato. I wrote weeks ago, and Nancy Guthrie has been missing for seven weeks now, that I thought it was wrong to devote so much of a network’s news time to a victim. This woman, who nobody in America would have ever heard of, was supposedly kidnapped … Read more
I have admitted my mistake or misjudgement enough times, but one more may be in order. I thought it was a travesty when John Fetterman ran for the Senate to represent the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and that was before he had a stroke. I saw him as an uneducated individual who had little respect for … Read more
The Democrats have two problems that are making a disaster of their messaging program. John Fetterman has become the prize for almost any network for his common-sense sound bites that are making a mockery of Democratic stances, particularly their criticism of President Donald Trump. Fetterman is calling out his fellow Party members and accusing most … Read more
I need to take a break from the mindless politics happening in Washington, D.C., and the Great State of Maine. I thank both of these locales and the Democratic Socialists who call them their workplace for supplying the conservative writers across the country with an endless supply of stories. I cannot wait to see what … Read more
