I watched and listened intently to New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s Facebook reel where he talks about his thoughts on the tragedy of 9/11. Mamdani is a lousy mayor, but a great actor. You can almost hear sincerity in his tone and words, but knowing what he has said in the past and what … Read more
It was a dark night on April 18, 1775, and the path was lonely and dangerous as Paul Revere mounted his horse in the little town of Lexington outside Boston. He rode through the woods and small hamlets on small roads lit only by the moon to let the good people of Massachusetts, including the … Read more
I moved to New Hampshire from Massachusetts 45 years ago because the Granite State was a solid red state then and more aligned with my conservative beliefs. The state has evolved, like so many red states have, to purple and even blue as people move in for a better quality of life. Many of these … Read more
Trump has his new haircut, new blue suit, a couple of dozen red ties, and a fueled-up Air Force One. He is ready for the most important month of the last ten years. President Donald Trump will embark on a 30-day cross- country rally-a-day schedule with the sole purpose of pushing enough Republican Congressional candidates … Read more
Karyann Parkinson is not someone you will hear about on the nightly news, and certainly does not appear on any ICE wanted posters. According to one of her narco-neighbors, Karyann Parkinson is one dangerous woman who may not deserve to keep her children. Virginia is technically not a sanctuary state, so there are certain places … Read more
The midterms this cycle are as confusing as the new world order is in general. Historically, the midterms have never been good for the sitting President. In the last 50 years, the President has maintained Congress’s support only once, for the first four years in office. Carter is the only President in this 50-year window … Read more
The trial of Lindsay Clancy is gripping America and is the lead story on nearly every newscast. Unfortunately, this sad story will not end when the jury returns with its verdict, as the nine-woman and three-man jury deliberating in Plymouth, Massachusetts, will probably return a not-guilty verdict. Having served on a jury for a month … Read more
As if the new abortion laws do not sicken a sane person with a modicum of respect for life, the passed or planned euthanasia laws around the world will make you skip a meal. You have to really question the moral upbringing of a person who has so little concern for life that they are … Read more
Governor Kathy Hochul of New York and Mayor Michelle Wu of Boston share a serious case of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS). Unfortunately for their constituents, they are letting this malady interfere with their job of keeping the people of New York and Boston safe. This situation stems from an ongoing battle with ICE. It has … Read more
A few political figures have earned the right to be known by initials. JFK, LBJ, and DJT are a few, and I never felt that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has done anything in her time in Washington to earn her three-letter logo. I also believe she took on her full name for political merit, which is why … Read more
Hakeem Jeffries had been keeping a low profile for a few weeks, and would have done himself a huge favor if he had stayed out of the spotlight. Jeffries surfaced on Tuesday to supposedly answer questions as to why he had a one-on-one meeting with Jared Kushner. He looked and acted like a kid on … Read more
The Progressive mind is a dangerous space for a conservative to venture into, but it is essential if we are to understand the newest political force since the Tea Party. The biggest difference between the Tea Party and the Democratic Socialists of America is that the Tea Party wanted the country to come back to … Read more
This should not be difficult. You have a women’s basketball league that has been around for a few decades with little attention. The games were played in front of small turnouts in small arenas and even lower TV ratings. Some good players were fed to the league by schools like UConn, Baylor, and even So. … Read more
The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) is not a new organization within our political circle. It actually started over 40 years ago and held its first convention in March of 1982. It started with about 6,000 members and remained a small fringe group until 2016, when Bernie Sanders first ran for President. The membership has … Read more
The title really needed a few more words to capture the entire thought. There are two correct answers to the question, and they fall along Party lines. As we saw in the first Trump term, many of his aides and supporters did jail time, and some of them pleaded guilty to fake charges after being … Read more
There are only a few possible, feasible explanations for the sudden change in James Carville’s demeanor when someone even whispers DSA. Over the last few months, Carville has been nothing less than apoplectic when anyone suggested that a DSA member was a member of the Democratic Party. Just last week, he was on record saying … Read more
…and a major dose of education. The results of many primaries, and the electorate’s acceptance of candidates with low personal standards, prove that we must win the mid-term elections if we are to maintain any level of sanity and preserve what is left of America. The people are frustrated, mad, and financially stretched, which are … Read more
A few decades ago, America’s moral compass was more clearly defined. There was no polarizing Yes-No, Black-and-White thinking on every meaningless topic, and the line between right and wrong was much more clearly defined. Most people understood reality and had a modicum of common sense. There certainly was no TDS where the Right saw red, … Read more
I realize that medical insurance coverage is not only a hot-button topic for most people, but medical insurance premiums are now one of the biggest entries on the family budget. The failed Obamacare, or supposed Affordable Care Act, has been anything but affordable for most Americans, and the costs of medical care are as difficult … Read more
You Are One Step Closer to North Korea There were about 20 women surrounding a desk where Governor Maura Healy of Massachusetts was signing into law a new bill that allows abortion up to the moment of birth. This is not just a third-trimester exemption, but a carte blanche approval to kill an unborn child … Read more
