Have you been following the machinations of the Justice System in Chicago? Tuesday the charges were dropped against Jussie Smollett. Prosecutors say to not take that to mean he’s innocent. On what planet does that make sense? If Smollett is guilty prosecute him. If he is not, exonerate the man and let him go. It cannot be both ways. That is justice denied.
Even Chicago’s Democrat mayor, Rahm Emmanuel, is against this decision from the prosecutor. The reaction from Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson was disbelief. Chicago Mayor Rahm Emmanuel conveyed shock and disbelief.
It does not appear on the surface that either the Mayor or the Police Superintendent got the memo from the Prosecutor. They do not seem to be on the inside of this exercise in prosecutorial discretion. Said another way they got blindsided. Who knows whether they thought that eventually nothing would happen to Jussie?
The reporting is that there may have been some influence exerted. Whether that is true or not there do seem to be two tiers of justice under Democrat control. The Police Superintendent certainly was taken aback when informed Smollett was being let off… despite the evidence.
What do you think? Do we need a two tier justice system in America? Ask yourself if Hillary got the same justice you would have gotten? Ask yourself if it was you that missed the bridge on Chappaquiddick and someone was killed, would you have found Kennedy justice? If you like Democrat justice, then vote Democrat.
