BEST: No Confidence

Thank you, Tony Schinella at Patch, for this.

A local healthcare worker is facing multiple felony charges after turning himself in to authorities following a cyber-tip investigation into child sexual abuse material.

James Pinet, 42, of Country Club Drive in Manchester, surrendered to law enforcement on Oct. 29. He is charged with 10 counts of possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).

An interesting note.

James Tenn, Esq is the Chair of the Elliot Health Systems Board. His law firm, Tenn & Tenn, represents Gordon MacDonald in his divorce case, which has been going on for 6-7 years now, since his wife, Jennifer Eber, Esq filed in October 2020.

You would think that Elliot Healthcare would have in-house IT monitoring for its employees, given the sensitive personal nature of the information the non-profit organization handles.  It’s pretty shocking that it took Google to flag unusual activity.

James J. Tenn, Jr., Esq is Chair of the Board of Trustees for Elliot Health System. He is involved with the Board of Governors for the NH Bar Foundation, and his wife, Mary Tenn, Esq is on the Board of the NH Bar Foundation. He is the former President of NHBA.

Alexander Colath (25, of Manchester, NH) also worked at Elliot Hospital (part of Elliot Health System) from December 2023 until he was arrested in December 2025 after an 8-year-old patient reported that he groped and took pictures of her while she was recovering from surgery in November 2025.

Grand jury indictments in Spring 2026 charged him with 69 or more felony counts across cases involving about 15 underage victims. A civil suit was also filed against Elliot Hospital by the parents of a 4-year-old patient with autism. It alleges that their child was subjected to repeated sexual abuse by Colbath while admitted in September/October 2025 and claims that the hospital allowed unsupervised access to vulnerable pediatric patients.  Colbath is being held in Merrimack County jail.

According to WMUR:

Executive Director at the NHCADSV Lyn Schollett told News9 that investigations like these rely on reporting abuse.

“It’s absolutely critical that reports are made in cases like this,” Schooled said. “Child sex abuse usually happens in secrecy and in silence. In fact, offenders count on instilling fear in churned to prevent them from reporting,”, she said.

“It’s important for everyone to know that you don’t need proof to make a report,” Schollett added. “If you have a reasonable concern. Let trained professionals investigate a case like this, and crisis centers can help a family navigate that reporting process,” she said.

A quick answer to Lyn Schollett:

Felony level child sex abuse was reported at St. Paul’s School, and AG MacDonald decided not to prosecute it. Lyn Schollett knows this because she was closely tied to the Grand Jury investigation and was fully aware of the Jane Doe v. St. Paul’s School lawsuit filed on May 11, 2018, by Chuck Douglas, who was simultaneously working with her on Marsy’s Law (and being paid for it).

In that lawsuit, Chuck Douglas asserts in paragraphs 41-43 that the 13-year-old son of the senior administrator of the school was felony-level raped by an 18-year-old student, but that the senior administrator didn’t report it as required by law.

From my research, it appears that the mother of the 13-year-old rape victim was a client of David Vicinanzo and that she had her interview with the AG’s office canceled at the last minute by Associate AG Jane Young, right before Gordon MacDonald announced a settlement agreement with the school with no criminal charges.

The NHCADSV said nothing.  If everyone is happy to sort out backdoor lawyer deals with money exchanging hands and the NHCADSV is in the middle of this with the AG’s office and the prosecutors, it’s not actually tackling the situation at all.

Felony level sexual abuse was reported in victim impact statements submitted by the NHCADSV’s attorney, David Vicinanzo, on December 9, 2025, before YDC Employee James Woodlock’s sentencing. But read the statements, and you will find they are not only for David Meehan but also for civil clients whose claims were never presented by prosecutors, and whose names were never mentioned.

In fact, one of the claims is for felony level rape around 2013/2014, well within the statute of limitations. But the State decided not to prosecute it. Go figure. The State decided to prosecute Woodlock for being an accessory to felony level rape by Stephen Murphy instead, and the State failed to prove that Stephen Murphy actually committed the rape in two separate trials.

Meanwhile, reports from parents are that Manchester PD has ignored reports of child trafficking and sex abuse.

None of this gives anyone any confidence in the State’s ability to investigate sexual abuse fairly at all. Especially in light of the cover-up of the State Trooper’s sexual abuse, Jonathan Stone’s case in Claremont.

101 for the Chairman of the Board of Elliot Health Systems with a law degree ought to be a review of the systems themselves, including IT oversight for employees.
