MADONALD: ICYMI – Gender “Bending Over Backward”

Another month gets us closer to the end of another = year, and that means another fourth Wednesday and my spot on WFEA with Jeff Chidester’s Morning Update.

This week the conversation orbits around a pair of stories involving men who pretend they are women, the media response or lack of it, the culture, excuses, and intimidation tactics that demand we pander to it, and why some people do, and others don’t.

The two stories that inspired the conversation are the Wonderland Books and Toys drag queen event this Saturday, which I wrote about here, and the detention demands of a guy who identifies as a woman, who tried to murder a Border Patrol agent in Pittsburg, New Hampshire, and doesn’t want to be housed with male inmates.

You can listen to this segment here on WFEA.com if the player doesn’t load.
